I was attracted to these headphones for a number of reasons but primarily for their supposed packability, Audio-Technica's excellent sounds quality and their sexiness. I would like to comment on all three having now received my headphones and have had a chance to check em out. from Amazon.com and they still sounded great up intil I lost them. I like their Monitor Series. Now I'm glad I decided to try something new with these headphones from Audio Technica. As far as an audio standard set and specs. from Amazon.com I'm an audiophile and the Audio Technica ATH-ES7-BK is a great offering. If you listen to rock, classical and R&B, this pair of headphones is for you. from Amazon.com The shiny metal sheen to the ear cups are very chic and classy looking. The foam cushion is very soft and sets a very good seal with the ear. Onto the headband and although the headband design is very rugged and strong, I can't but help wish AudioTechnica would tone down slightly on the very strong grip it exerts on the head. Worry not though because several websites have very detailed guides on how to fix this "issue." Point to note I have not made any adjustments to the headband and the headband starts becoming inconvenient only after an extended session (3 hours +) from Amazon.com The Audio Technica ES7 does so many things right that you gradually realize that it's quite special. = The ES7 can be worn like an ordinary headphone, then folded flat for storage in a backpack or briefcase. from Amazon.com I considered noise cancelling phones but they are very expensive. after much research i found this model. Many stores charge over 200 for them (they list at 250) but Beach Audio on Amazon only charged 108 including the shipping, and they were a pleasure to deal with.
