we have grilled lots of hamburgers, brats, chichen and hot dogs on these.
it takes about 15 minutes to get to 500 degrees which is appropriate to sear in those grill marks so symbolic with perfectly grilled food.
i've only grilled on it a few times so far but the food was very flavorful and all of the meat was done the same....not like my uneven grill before that was hot on some parts and not on the other
