we recently built a new deck so to go with it i wanted to get my husband a bigger charcoal grill.
the space required for this product is a concern for those with small patios or decks.
the ash collector is well sealed and has good capacity so you can grill on your deck for hours even in windy conditions without the worry of burning little holes in the finish.
great on my deck.
it also makes a great smoker for fish and meat alike.
you can also grill a whole dead fish!
we got the green colored kettle and it looks very nice on the patio.
moving the chimney starter to the concrete patio got it going again.
i still wouldn't use this on a deck, though.
i got the green with the whitewall tires and love its vintage look on the deck of my vintage home, also.
the grill is small enough for my patio.
needed a quality grill to put on our porch at the beach.
he hates using his big grill as he is elderly and this unit can easily be used on his small balcony/porch.
i cooked burgers, steaks, hot dogs, sausages and salmon for ten people...nice size cooking surface.
we were grilling salmon and the same problem happened to him.
they have been put to the test, from falling off decks, to being plunged into pools, to surviving hurricanes.
try ribs, salmon, pork loin.
the form fitting cover is great (sold separately, but worth it), and really makes the grill look "professional" when sitting outside on our patio.
i bought this grill to use on the balcony of my apartment ten years ago and took it with me, when i moved six years ago, to the patio of my house.
this grill is perfect for open patios where the wind becomes your friend and emptys out the ash tray.
best uses: fish, meat, parties, vegetable pros: adds flavor to meal, cooks efficiently, large grilling surface, portable bottom line: yes, i would recommend this to a friend
i have a diversitech grill pad under it to keep the heat and crud off my deck, and it works great.
it's just small enough to rinse out in my kitchen sink but big enough to grill for 4 to 6 people on the deck.
if you plan to set this grill up on your deck or balcony and not travel much with it, this grill would work well.
i used it in my camping trip to grill meat, fish, corn, potatoes even boiled water for coffee.
i have a large weber grill (22") that i kept on the front porch of my vacation home (cabin) the grill has been on my porch for almost 20 years.
it is compact and portable, so there is no unsightly grill always hanging around your house or patio.
i like to grill at all times of the year so i leave it on the patio all year round and sometimes have to dig through a snowdrift to find it.
purchased this grill last october and located it on a screened back porch.
it's small enough to fit on my back porch so i plan to grill all winter long.
we use this grill in the winter on our patio when our big grill is put away...it works very well on food that we like including chicken breast, steak, and fish fillets.
so i left it off, i just empty the ashes onto the patio and rinse them into the yard.
pros: durable, easily stored, good venting, multi-fuel enabled, portable cons: i can't say anything bad best uses: meats, patio, vegetables

it took me about 10 minutes to assemble it, and it looks great on my patio.
