The Meco Grill is an OK product. Grilling fine but cleaning the plate rite under the heat coils (it is attached)is a pain.
It is still somewhat early to review this product, as I have only used it 3 times so far. I have cooked chicken breasts, pork loin, and turkey burgers. The grill was quite simple to put together, just make sure before you start that you separate all of your hardware so you know you have it all, and you don't accidentally use the wrong item in the wrong place. I researched electric grills on-line quite thoroughly, and found this to be the best.
I have grilled on this thing at least twice a week for the past year. I have had to adjust my grilling style to work with the grill since it is not the same as grilling on charcoal or propane.
I WANT THIS TO SERVE AS A WARNING TO ANY BUYER CONSIDERING TO PURCHASE THE MECO ELECTRIC GRILL. THIS GRILL IS TOTALLY MISREPRESENTED AS AN OUT-DOOR COOKING GRILL AND DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT HEATING ELEMENT TO GRILL ANYTHING; IT MERELY BROWNS MEAT AND RESULTS IN AN AWFUL TASTE LIKE THE CHICKEN WAS BOILED.
Too early for full review....used it only 3 times so far. Seems to work O. K.
Amazon delivery fantastic, however was sent wrong grill twice in two weeks time. Had to just cancel order, was just to frustrating receiving the same wrong grill twice and sending both back.
The rotissiere system works great and puts out a great bird. I would rather have charcoal or propane since it heats up much better, but I live in a condo that will not allow anything but electric. This is by far the best electric grill and I stand by the Meco product.
I know that there are some mixed reviews on this product. Assembly was pretty easy.
I read the reviews and chose to try it out at my own risk. What I have learned from using this grill is that it does not get to the temp that I like and the angle they but the grill at makes all my meat to fall forward and have to close the grill and quickly as possible to prevent the meat from falling off.
