Intending to put this grill to the test we have grilled every type of food from seafood to steaks and it all came out perfectly. The side burner produces enough heat to steam shrimp or boil corn on the cob in minutes. The most amazing thing is the amount of gas that we use when grilling. There was about about 3/4 of a tank of propane from the old grill and it's still going after 25 nights of grilling (even using the self clean feature). from Homedepot.com I have had this grill for about a month, you spend less time actually grilling, which means less gas used, and the clean mode makes it a snap to clean.
