I have owned this grill for just over 2 weeks now and I can say I am pleasantly suprised by its performance. I looked at the grille for about 3 weeks before trying to dedide what I wanted to buy... from Homedepot.com I purchased this grill last summer and cover it when not in use. After one year the grates are rusting and the only replacements that fit are sold direct by Char Broil at $30 each. from Homedepot.com This was an interesting buy @ HD. Specialty Grill retailers call anything under $1,000 a "throw away grill" I did have a Char Broil "Professional Series" Grill before and it lasted maybe 6 years and was skeptical over getting another from them. from Homedepot.com i have been using the smoker chips in it, and it is the first gas grill that is actually good at smoking foods at 200 degrees. from Homedepot.com once the deck is finished next week i can grill most every night. from Homedepot.com i fired it up and let it preheat and then i put a piece of salmon on one side and a 2 inch ribeye on the other. from Homedepot.com i've only had it foe a few weeks, so i will update this is my opinion changes (i don't think it will though)now for the review:cooking - i was skeptical, but wow, everything (including chicken and from Homedepot.com grill gives that great smoke flavor and unless you have something with a lot of "fat" there are no flareups and even those are minimal. from Homedepot.com steaks, chicken, salmon steaks, tuna steaks... from Homedepot.com we have already cooked burgers, steak, chicken and ribs; everything came out delicious and juicy. from Homedepot.com
