i was expecting it to be a good improvement, but it shocked me to find that the card performs on par, if not slightly better than one of my friends 3870s.

i haven't tried overclocking it, though; i'm satisfied with the performance i'm getting, and it doesn't seem worth the risk since i don't insist on having everything on super-high settings.

other thoughts: scores 5.1 on the vista 64bit performance index-o-meter.low profile card, comes with a full size cover plate.

is near the middle, but still maintains 60fps outside of large populated towns(stormwind/shattrath/etc)reason why sight distance isn't maxed is because, it kills performance for a minor thing.
