i can hear the fan on it spin up and down at variable speeds depending on what graphics process it is rendering in a game.

i would, however, use the catalyst control to manually handle the fan speed; 40% seems to work fine most of the time, but 50% speed really does the job if you're doing something that puts a load on

pros: comes overclocked, runs at advertised speeds, i haven't found a game that can slow it down yet (bf2+xpacs, cod4, cod5, coh, wic) and i run it at 1900x1080 with highest aa and af settings
