registration on the web site took seconds , everything simple and nicely done, recieved access to free games, advance rma (if i will ever need it).guys, if you really do planing to get a new card -
other thoughts: this card is cheaper on evga.com's site and, it comes with the cryostasis game free when you buy it from them on www.evga.com
every game i challenge it with it just eats it up.
it takes anything i give it, i am only into hardcore flight simming, and anyone who knows, those are hardware hogs.
this card is great for gaming!
i am able to run games like battlefield 2 (project reality mod), farcry2, armed assault, empire total war, etc at max res and with all the bells and whistles turned on and this card handles it.
other thoughts: this is a very powerful card, and most benchmarks show it about as powerful as a gtx 280, and 10% slower than a gtx 285 for most games.
have already logged a couple hundred hours worth of gaming and benchmarks in the last month and the card has handled it all without any issues.
the card is at 40 degree c idle and while running wow it's at 47-50 degrees c.
other thoughts: i bought this card less than 24 hours ago, and since then they already lowered the price by ten bucks and threw in a free game, lol i seriously have no luck when it comes to this
i was actually looking at that game at target a couple of weeks before buying this card, and thinking, nah, i can't buy it, my card isn't good enough.
i tried that cryostasis game that came included for free, this card runs it very smooth with no problem at all in 1280x1024 resolution.
and games have never played smoother and better res, even if you have to pay retail 129 is a steal cons: got the first one from evga and it was a major pain didnt want to run stable with my
at this price you can't beat this card, evga is awesome cant wait to buy another one and sli it in my evga 780i fortw cons: the card froze twice since i got it, so when im gaming i turn the fan
this is a great card for someone who is looking for a cheap videocard but also wants it to be able to handle all of todays games.
i game with this card and i put everything on high it will still run around 100 fps.
of course you can hear it when the card's fan is maxed out, but i haven't encountered that in a game yet.this card came preconfigured to the superclocked version's settings of 626/2106.
instead, touched the top of the card and it was *hot* even idling in the vista desktop.
a must get this card will keep you busy for todays and future generation games for a long time.
i upgraded from a x1900xt card and wow i noticed a big difference.
other thoughts: evga tech support is great, newegg is great, etc.i am extremely happy to be able to be play any game at great settings and awesome frames, i really love it.my old desktop had an
had to fiddle with the in game settings to get it up that high otherwise it was sitting at a solid 59fps.
i run all my games at 1600 x 1200, everything maxed out.
the following games run max settings: crysis, fallout 3, burnout paradise, dawn of war ii, and fear 2.

it's hard to compare my old system and video card to the rig i have now but my frame rates went through the roof in all the games i used to play when i moved up to the gtx260.
i moved from an ati x1300 pro to this.i run the card on 1900x1080 hdmi with maxed out settings on games like cod4 and cod5(haven't tested it out on crysis yet).
this is the evga gtx 216 core 216 "perfect video card for my gaming pc" ,because is better it's 216 processing cores, 16 more than the regular gtx 260,
this card is playing assassin's creen, cod-waw, left4dead, and any other game i throw at it at full graphics settings without so much as a hicup.
this card is exceptionally fast, even by itself, and tears through pretty much any game i throw at it, especially at higher resolutions.
i do have several other computers and in one of my computers i have an ati 4850 and it is nice, but for the say steam games i play, this card is fine.
if your looking to upgrade a card on something newer go for it, if your trying to save your p4 system for gaming etc.
the card isn't top notch but i found it runs "oblivion" on full power and still testing.
i wasn't plan to buy it to play games, but was tempted to buy a good card.
after overclocking to what it can handle where your not pushing it too much, you might be able to push anti-alaising 2x with max settings but i still dont think you'll get smooth gameplay.i
i bought it so i could play some games and stuff now that i have a decent gaming pc.
silky smooth, max settings on wow, hl2, cod4, oblivion...
combined with the rest of my system i have been able to play almost all of my video games at full resolution and full or nearly-full graphics (native resolution of my monitor is 1920x1080).
i can play any game with visual settings maxed out, watch any video encoded in anyway with zero stutter.
i play city of heroes and eve online, and both games run without any problems.
