Pros: ToxicCards Have performed well for me 3870s, 4870s, and more Cons: Sapphire Tech does not handle their warranty. This is fine in the first year, Newegg will handle that (Newegg Rocks!)However, after the first year you will have to go through a company called Althon Micro. from Newegg.com Pros: Outstanding quality and great cooling Cons: None so far Other Thoughts: Toxic for the win! from Newegg.com Pros: I was looking for a good mid-high end video card with a decent amount of RAM, good speeds and it needed to be cool and quiet. This card seemed to be the only one that fit those guidelines, and it doesn't cost a ton either. from Newegg.com Cards topped out at 82-85 degrees Celcius when pushing them hard. Cons: They do run hot when they are getting worked. The case I was using had a very good single 120mm Enermax fan in the front and a single 80mm Enermax fan on the side panel but it was high up and did not put new cooler air on the cards from the side. Cons: None Other Thoughts: wish the turn around was like next day, i also wish they would cover shipping both ways and not just 1 but everyone has the same procedure so what can ya do. from Newegg.com Pros: Great price, 1gb DDR5, excellent cooling, mean looking, very usable and overclockable on a stable 500w psu, very easy installation (pretty much plug it in, install the drivers and away you go), fits just fine in an antec 300 Cons: Fan can be a little loud above 50% Other Thoughts: At 85 degrees plus in my house consistently it barely gets over 50 degrees Celsius no matter the torture I put it through, 3dMark, Crysis on high settings with 2xAA and looks great(I really dislike that game but keep it around because it is a good benchmark), I only say the fan was loud because past 50% I could finally hear it over my 3 120mm and 1 140mm case fans. Excellent choice for those who aren't trying to set any 3DMark world records but want something solid and powerful to use, it fit i my mid tower no problem, frankly this mid tower is becoming something of a pocket rocket, that little case is packed with some decent stats thanks to this card and a few other things. from Newegg.com Runs them all at the highest graphic settings with maximum number of cars yielding frame rates I didn't know were possible. Haven't tried to overclock because I don't need to. This is about my 6th Sapphire card and all have worked great out of the box - never any problems. Fit fine in the old Gigabyte Posidon Chassis I reused for this build. from Newegg.com Also, the card has a jakey heat pipe set-up that sticks way up over the top of the card, making the installation of a side case impossible for all but the most voluminous of boxes. It was also loud...while it ran. Other Thoughts: Sapphire customer support is only handled via email. They eventually authorized a return, but Newegg had already done a swap for a EAH4890 ASUS (non-TOP)card with no hassles. from Newegg.com Pros: I upgraded to this Sapphire Toxic HD4870 card from a PNY GeForce 9600GT.
