Pros: I upgraded to this from a 8800GT (which has proven to be one of the more solid cards I've owned) and got a very solid performance jump, but not quite as much as I was hoping for. Think I might be CPU bound, need to upgrade my old Opteron 185 (@2.6GHz) / 2GB RAM / MSI K8N system to an i7 to really take full advantage of this card. On the other hand, I'm able crank GTA IV, Fallout 3, X3:TC and so forth up to max textures and improve on shadow quality @ 1900x1200 resolution on a BenQ 2400W, while still getting better average FPS, but what I notice is more that periods of low FPS, studdering, and level load times have really improved more than max FPS has. Something like doing a race in GTA where you do a coupla of laps is much smoother than before, it's really obvious how the extra VRAM helps out. from Newegg.com Tried with it OC'd and non overclocked. On the stress test I get 558fps avg... and it never drops below 275 or so. Everything is stock, no overclocking. I can run my audio from my motherboard to my video card and have it come out the HDMI port to my TV.
