I'm running an AMD 64 X2 4000 (Dual core) with 2GB RAM and previously had upgraded from an Nvidia 5900 (128MB) to an Nvidia 7800GS (256MB). My son gave me Warhammer II for fathers' day, and with the 7800GS I could barely squeak by on Low settings at 1280x1024. from Amazon.com This is a very big (in space) video card, very high power consumption also. Since I installed it I have been having temperature problems with my computer and I have a Corsair 850 W power supply. from Amazon.com Pros: Performs like a champ. Stays cool, and its quiet. Getting 500fps on CS 1.6 and 150-200 on CS Source. Soon to try the COD game that came with the card. from Newegg.com Pros: +Stays relatively cool for where it is located in my case (I've never seen it go about 76C).+Only needs one power connector and it is located at the top of the card+Good performance overall Cons: -No HDMI out-No case stickers/badges (call customer service 888-881-3842 for EVGA stickers, but I don't know where to get an Nvidia one)-Free CoD: WaW 5 days after I order!-Pretty big (but what cards aren't these days) Other Thoughts: On max settings (except for viewing distance, which is a tick or two down), I get 60fps everywhere in WoW. It can play Crysis on High once overclocked. from Newegg.com Pros: This Card is good i upgraded form a 9600GT which is about 30-40% upgrade, Its a good product over all but it still is in essence a 9800GTX+ so its really still a 9 series card and no where near the ammount of power to a GTX series. Dont get me wrong it can pack a punch even though its just a i tiny bit faster then the 9800GTX+ Cons: Rehashed 9800GTX+ sadly, Just a tiny bit faster. from Newegg.com Pros: Very light, Very powerful, Quiet, Does not overheat, Strong runner, with EVGA tag I know I can trust.
