Pros: This is probably my last AGP card, bought to experiment with an older (2.1ghz Athlon x86 w/1gig RAM) PC to test Windows 7. It came up, was recognized initially as just VGA in Win7. from Newegg.com Pros: Card comes with low prfile bracket which installs easily, volume discount was a bonus. Used lots of these cards to add second monitors around the office in low-profile gateway boxes. from Newegg.com Card works great. My slow P4 2.4 OC'ed to 2.5 can't keep up. I just wanted a cheap card that would let me play games at 1920x1080 on my new Asus VH222H monitor. Works with windows 7 too! from Newegg.com Pros: Great card just got it works well supports aero dont use it for gaming but good to know I can. also boosted up my WEI score on windows 7 also 512 mb thats great .. Other Thoughts: Disappointed in ASUS, manufacturing legacy technology is no excuse for shipping dysfunctional drivers-- if anything, more attention needs to be paid in this situation)I don't understand this guys review, he has a "somewhat high tech knowledge", but cant figure out he needs latest drivers for card to run in windows 7. from Newegg.com It installs perfectly fine using the latest drivers under Win7. I used the device manager in conjunction with the ATI drivers, browsed for driver location and everything was good from there. Cons: The way they have the power plug mounted, makes the pci slot under your AGP slot completely useless. So far its running fine on this system. I have been limited to low profile agp cards for this system, and this is huge upgrade from Nvidia 6200 (the second fastest low profile agp 8x card). And the drivers from asus site work, but if you need to get the latest 9.9 (something like that) from ati, make sure to get the agp hotfix driver suite. from Newegg.com
