Pros: good performance, runs cool, works under windows 7 and ubuntu Cons: died after 2.5 months. the symptoms are similar to other reportsmany customers are complaining about sudden death of this card after several weeks/months of use Other Thoughts: need to send for repair to asus because newegg's return policy is only 30 days from Newegg.com Pros: Worked well as long as it was working. Was able to run most games at full settings, 1680x1050. No compatibility issues with Windows 7 or older games, as far as I could tell. from Newegg.com Pros: Well Only Pro I have is It Looked Nice , But as most things looks are definitily not everything! Cons: This card quit working exactly 30 days from install. Now I looked on Asus forums and what happened with mine is happening to many others also major problems fans dieing cards overheating right out of box and so on , I n the past I thought Asus was the best but if you dig a bit the next step up to the GTX models are having same issue. SLI capable. from Newegg.com One by itself will blaze you through any game title out to date (cpu speed willing) at max settings. The card comes with hybrid SLI ability, which means you can plug a second and then a 3rd in side by side. 2 Gts 250's in SLI hit 80-120fps in crysis, farcry2 etc (higher than a single gtx 285) and you'd save atleast 100 bucks. The heatsink/fan are well constructed and keep the card very cool (98f in my rig) Cons: There are no performance issues with this card. from Newegg.com other than that runs a solid 40-50 fps on max quality. I'm looking at buying another one just for the extra fps. Easy to install, the software that came w/ the video card worked beautifully. I bought this of a friend for a 100 dollars cash money.
