The precision utility is quite nice, being able to change clock speeds and such. I upgraded from a 7950 GTKO and this was WELL worth the money. I wanted to go up to a 285 or 295 but, of course, the money situation was a factor. If you're in the 7/8 series cards looking for a good GTX card, this is it. from Newegg.com Pros: Great gaming card. Came off of 2x8600GT and am very impressed. Plays fallout 3 on max settings, and I can finally play crysis on high settings. from Newegg.com Pros: I couldn't tell you, I have yet to see it work. Cons: Not just DOA, but this series of cards has a KNOWN problem with the memory and may "brick" at any time. EVGA has acknowledged this problem even here on Newegg's site, yet these cards are being sold anyway. Other Thoughts: I'm STILL in the RMA process to replace my dead card. from Newegg.com Pros: Nothing you throw at this card will remotely slow it if you are using a 23 or 22 inch monitor. Other Thoughts: I doubt i'll need my other PCI-E slot in this build, but it nearly covers it. I have run both in intense COD online matches in seperate machines and so far no issues with either other than I am wondering about SLI a bit. from Newegg.com Tried installing XP to see if it was Vista related and got the same artifacting during boot, but it did load windows with no BSOD. Unfortunetly, the screen artifacted completely once the desktop appeared. My old 7900 GT and the onboard video works with Vista and XP with no problems.
