Pros: this card does well in games like left 4 dead and bioshock, does pretty well for a budget card, and even plays back movies perfectly Cons: so much space it takes to fit inside my pci slots area Other Thoughts: getting around 90-140fps on newer games (with everything maxed out on graphics) is great with this card even with a very very VERY low system (dell dimension 4600 1.5GB's ram 2.8GHz CPU pentium 4 singlecore) so brought more power than i thought it would from Newegg.com But no heat issues as of yet, so that's good! Other Thoughts: Overall, not a bad card for the money. Especially if you're stuck with PCI. Took quite a bit of tweaking to find the driver version that worked the best for my client, but a recent driver update solved all that problem. from Newegg.com Cons: None Other Thoughts: I got this card to use in an Atom 220 machine for running XBMC Live. With Nvidia's VDPAU support (GPU H264 decoding) I can run high bitrate 1080p H264 with perfect sync and no frame drops at only 8 - 20% CPU usage which is amazing for a slow Atom 220. The does card takes up two slots as do most video cards. It does get hot but not unstable. from Newegg.com Lets first start off with what system I have. I have this HP DC5100 small form factor computer with Pentium 4 3 GHz HT processor, 3 GB ram, and 40 GIG Hardrive. I recently installed Windows Vista Ultimate which runs good on it except for the on board video which would not let me run the Windows Aero and some other programs like Windows DVD Maker. I figured I would upgrade the video card for when my daughters would visit so they would have a decent computer to use. from Amazon.com Pros: Cheap, breathing new life to an AGP less mobo. Cons: Need to uninstall even the driver of the built video card (Intel GMA), first time i encountered this one. It does require two starts. First it installed the PCI Bridge.
