Got this product at my doorstep in 3-4 days of ordering it. I have two 23'' Samsung monitors that I wanted to hook up to my MacBook Pro. The first one , I connected directly but for the second monitor I needed this UV Plus adapter. First the pluses, it connected easily and I was up and running in no time. from Amazon.com I didn't tested for games/3D. I tested with YouTube and it works fine. It plays smoothly without any degradation of video. I saw some reviews that it can not be restored correctly when PC/laptop comes back from sleep mode. from Amazon.com I struggled with 2 monitors for a few weeks before finding this. Setup was remarkably easy and the software is easy to use. It is able to be plugged in / unplugged without restarting windows or going back into display configuration. It runs an app that sits in the tray and allows you to configure the settings for the monitor. from Amazon.com It works quite well for basic desktop work and the drivers install and work quite seamlessly. However, anything with any considerable frame rate requirements tends to lag a bit, although basic video is acceptable. Overall, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. from Amazon.com Installed as a third monitor on a HP notebook with windows XP. It worked perfectly without any appreciable speed difference compared to the other screens. from Amazon.com Received the EVGA Adaptor today and it only took me about twenty minutes - including rebooting my PC to set it up and use the second monitor. Very pleased with this as the last product (NOT EVGA) I purchased was a major time waster. from Amazon.com I am that person at work that has like 7 applications open at once and need to look at multiple applications at the same time. And like someone else stated, my IT department does not like us messing with our computers or adding our own software. With this adapter, I was able to bypass all the red tape. After one of my IT guys said they cannot set up two screens on my laptop because they could not hook up an internal adapter, I went out and purchased this external adapter and could not be happier. from Amazon.com Works very well, is solid, easy to tote around, and no weird crashes. It is actually better than the junk Dell bundled internally. My internal Dell video card has died twice, acts funny after hibernating and doesn't support DVI. Depending on my job site, I'm either driving a 1680x1050 DVI monitor, a 1680x1050 VGA monitor, or a 1280x1024 VGA monitor. from Amazon.com I have an HP laptop with a 22" external screen added. I was able to add 2 additional 22" screens with UV16 USB adapters, getting me up to 4 screens total. This is definitely the least expensive way to add screens. from Amazon.com I use this item in a 3 screen setup including my laptop screen, a 19" crt on the laptop's vga out and this driving a 17" crt at 1162x864,32 bit color. Once I get the computer started, it works great - much better than similar products I've had. from Amazon.com
