this is probably the highest value workstation card you can buy. My Rig-Vista Ultimate 64Core i7 Extreme @ 3.6GHz12GB G. Skill DDR3 1333 (6x2GB, yes, I do use all of it)Biostar TpowerX58nVidia Quadro FX3700WD VelociRaptor 300GBx2Dual HP w2408h 24" monitorsCooler Master Centurion 590 caseVigor Monsoon III CPU cooler8 120mm Scythe fans and Zalman controller from Newegg.com Pros: high FPS's on multiple fully rendered swept helix parts in large complex assembly in Solidworks GL2.0ran 3dmark06 under stock conditions (non oc'ed) and scored a 12000 (this is quite excepptional considering this is not a gaming pc)PC CPU Temps never rose over 37c (98f) in a 26c (80f) room. I began with this decently priced graphics workstation video card and designed my computer around it. from Amazon.com Pros: Anyone expecting this (or any) video card to speed up their render times is certainly confused. Unless you are running CUDA applications, the video card has absolutely nothing to do with rendering speed, which is based almost entirely on CPU/RAM configuration. from Newegg.com Pros: Card does a nice job of redrawing in Lightwave, Illustrator, and Photoshop. This card runs both of my HP 24" monitors flawlessly, I have all of my graphics settings set to max and you can still spin a part as fast as you can move your mouse without dropping a frame.
