other thoughts: i am using this card for a digital recording setup (hence the mac os) and did not purchase this card with the intent to play any games on it (mainly to just run dual monitors and get from Newegg.com other thoughts: i was thinking that this card would not be good enough to play cs source and some other hl2 games at a decent framerate. from Newegg.com put it in my htpc mainly cause the southbridge and tv tuner (theater 550 pro) are ati so...no nvidia needed in this box. from Newegg.com whatver the subpixel rendering issue is, ati pays attention to it, and nvidia always seem to be soft. from Newegg.com it has great support in vista and good-rapidly-getting-better linux support. from Newegg.com although nvidia has better support for the mac os, this card seems to be working well. from Newegg.com bought this to replace a failing nvidia card, first ati video card owned. from Newegg.com (not a big gamer though) from Newegg.com i've always preferred ati, even though the tech reviews say that nvidia is as good as ati in displaying video. from Newegg.com only power needed comes from pci-express slot (no extra power supply leads needed). from Newegg.com
