you should note that this card is big and you might have to take some things out before putting it in it's pci-e slot. from Amazon.com other thoughts: my friend has a similar xfx 8600 and he has had heating problems as the card constantly goes over 70 c just playing on wow, this never goes over 50, sure it's a tad more expensive but from Newegg.com i picked this up because my 6800 would not play newer games, transformers, spiderman 3, well this card does it with ease. from Newegg.com my evga 7800gt died so i replaced it with this board (for the same money i spent on the 7800gt) ended up with a faster gaming card that can play my dx10 games too (win win). from Newegg.com very easy to install and the latest nvidia drivers automatically detected the card and it runs like a charm. from Newegg.com for lower-budget gamers this card is really it. from Newegg.com this is my third nvidia card purchased from msi and i love it. from Newegg.com running it would bottle neck so bad but this chip oc'ed from 1.6 to 2.8 easy and it keeps it from bottle necking no prob this is a great card still plays all my games at my 1280x1024 res maxed no lag from Newegg.com now i'm guessing the grinding noise on start up of my computer was this card and not my pci cooler like i thought. from Newegg.com other thoughts: it has (as coronal mentioned) a pci-e power plug, which not all psus have cables for. from Newegg.com
