What People Say
my old radeon 9700 pro just died on me after 4 years of good use and well after ordering this card, it feels as if i never replaced the radeon, great card for casual gaming and even better for daily

fortunately, there are many good pci and pci-x1 sataii cards out there...i am using the pny card and it gives me two extra sataii ports.

had one issue when i didn't realize my old motherboard ran at x4 pci and this video card did not support x4 but it was worth the effort of upgrading to get this thing working right.
from Newegg.com
it is very quiet, i can not hear the card at all even playing graphic intensive games like crysis.

it plays games amazingly, i was an ati guy before this card and on my old x1600 pro i was getting around 30-40 fps in garrysmod *half life 2 mod* and now i'm getting 100-150 in outside environments.

this card idles at about 43c and reaches about 60c in gaming with one 120mm 800rpm fan blowing indirectly on it and the motherboard, and a single 800rpm exhaust fan.

this card can run any game you throw at it, but will have trouble with some games on high settings...

i can play any game i've thrown at it, and i'm amazed at the oc you can achieve on this card.

other thoughts: weird, but even though my testing shows this card runs circles around my old 7900gs in all apps, vista still rates it lower for its performance rating.

gigabyte also re-designed nvidia 's reference card layout to make the card shorter - it is the same length as my old 6600gt, for reference.
