oh and you have to have the grey dvi to hdmi adapter, got mine from here it's a his brand, and my card is sapphire(the adapter for which was no longer available for some reason?), and they work fine

other thoughts: sapphire rebate program is a hoax, they never planed on paying up, tried to get on line to see why i hadn't received my rebate and they couldn't even find my name ha_ha.
