as it is not a strong gaming card the power consumption is much less.
as for speed, it's good enough to run most games.
other thoughts: have not tried any hard-core 3d gaming/rendering with this card, since i'm running less than the recommended power...
added bonus it handles games very well at medium to high settings depending on the game.
i haven't played any games on it yet, but does all of my video rendering very well and fast.
do you want to buy a card thats on the top of the gaming market, and breaking the boundary into the enthusiast market?
under a buck for this card and a free game.

so far plays world in conflict at highest settings and anti-aisling, which this game is pretty demanding for an rts.
usually runs games 35-40+ fps 1080p cons: when i engage aa or as filtering, things start slowing down pretty bad.
i don't do a lot of heavy gaming but this card has handled everything i've thrown at it.went with this card to match my x48 chipset with crossfire in the future.

i didn't buy it for a gaming system, just for the wife's work system.
the customer wont be using it for games like this anyway.
i tried firing up some old games that i knew performed very well on my computer, but this card performed just under par.
forget it for current games.
if your looking for a strong gaming card, i'd advise going with a faster and stronger card.
