i purchased this offline and after much trial with best buy finally got it delivered to my home!i had never used a tablet before and thought it may be tricky to get used to it, but no the wacom
other thoughts: having tried a genius tablet i can safely say wacom makes a far superior product.
wacom knows how to make a good product.
this is the lowest cost wacom tablet you can get.
wacom included a great learning cd with this and it has you using the pen in minutes.
recently, while working on a video production, got the chance to use my friends 6x8 graphire 4 wacom tablet, which has been discontinued (only the bluetooth model is still in production.) i was very
if you never owned a writing tablet before and are toying with the idea the wacom bamboo fun medium is a great choice.
that i don't need: notes taking, handwriting recognition, little gadgets popping up in your face when you don't need them, but that's not wacom's fault but the os trying to be painfully helpful.
over all the wacom bamboo is an excellent tool for digital artists- it's easy to use and yields great results.
wacom does it again and again.
this is my first wacom product and first tablet for that matter but from what i have experienced it's very responsive, build quality is great and the oled is cool to look at.
this is the first wacom product i have ever owned since it's not sold in my country.
when you register the product on wacoms web site you can download custom brushes and some free full version software, i think it's like a total of 4.
after spending 3 weeks with my wacom intuos4 tablet, i feel ready to write about my experiences using it.
it's a lot easier to use as a drawing tool than my previous tablet, the wacom graphire 3--not just in calibration, but also in the variety of pen nibs and the fact that the pen is considerably easier
this is my first tablet and first product from wacom.
i did a lot of research before buying and wacom definitely offers the best product.
we previously owned a larger wacom and another brand tablet and this one is by far the better tablet.
this is my 4th wacom tablet and they are excellent.
i have been using the wacom saphire3 for 3 years now, recent purchased a laptop and needed a second pen tablet..
i didn't do much research, but i learned that wacom would most likely be the best brand i could even think of purchasing.
wacom is well known for superior tablets and graphic design products.
my first tablet ever was a wacom graphire that, at the time, was $99 and about the same size as this one.
works like a charm and is fairly cheap too, especially on here compared to buying it on wacom's site.
has problems working with inkscape (more an inkscape bug than a wacom bug i suspect).
the tablet itself now sports more buttons compared to the intuos3, as well as a touch ring, all of which are customizable in the wacom driver properties so you can make them do whatever you want
i've tried a smaller, earlier wacom tablet and simply hated it but this is a tremendous improvement.
