the tomtom does not have sub categories for their poi's so when you search for shopping, you get everything from grocery stores to apparel shops, which are very different.

if you want to find target, for example, you can't perform a "search all categories" for target, it's too broad and it wont find any target stores.

also, you can't specify a range to look in if you view by category so often what you want won't be finable until you are within a mile of two of it.
