i got the novi 760 for travel in the usa because it would be cheaper to use rather than renting a gps from a car rental company for the length of my stay on a long trip.

the only problem i had was with my travel through canada between detroit and buffalo.

it has a no extra bells and whistles (no mp3 player -lol, doesn't speak road names - annoying, no maps of alaska or canada - not needed, no fm transmitter to listen to mp3 - useless gimmick, etc.).
