It works great and is very accurate, especially in the US.
I bought this unit as a Christmas present and it has proved to be a four month headache.
I have had this unit for several months but did not really put it to maximum use until this past week.
Perfect, the screen is wide enough for me to read ( I like to read and listen) not small like one of the Garmin GPS, I received it a few days ago, set up was easy as 1-2-3 no comp.
The unit is overall OK, but it takes a very long time every time you turn it on to pick up a signal and you can miss important turns.
The new piece from KVH adds a lot to the already solid A5 system.
Pros: Hardware, size, gps-lock, finds address and provides routing with voice.
Cons: Not really supported anymore by HP, brightness control resets to low all the time.
Finds locations accurately and has a built in link to MapPoint's website that provides aerial views of the location.
Purchased this unit for my wife, we call her "wrong way", and she hasn't gotten lost since.
The Bushnell Nav 500 is not a good unit for the price that you are paying.
Pros: All-in-one.
Is the Eclipse AVN7000 worth two thousand dollars?
Pros: Easy to set and use.
Pros: I do like that the instructions are verbal.
I am not writing a review for this exact product, but am for a similar one.
I have owned this unit for two years now and use it in a portable case.
My husband looked for this particular 'fish finder" at all retail stores locally.
Review: There are far better choices out there for a handheld GPS receiver.
Pros: Detailed maps, track back ability, pretty accurate for a "bottom basement" GPS.
I thought for a fully integrated gps product (inclusive of maps and in-depth functionality) this product would be a great bargain.
Pros: allot of features and small footprint
