It is my best purchase of recent months. I like it very much becase it is very accurate, quick calculating and recalculating rout, friendly screen and simple menu. Great customer service from Sony !Bought this unit with old firmware version, Sony offered newest firmware update plus 2009 maps update. This gps is far superior to Garmin that I tried before. from Amazon.com I purchased the Sony GPS through Amazon and was amazed at what a great deal I got. I haven't had an opportunity to use mine, but she reports she is very pleased with hers. from Amazon.com The only negative thing that I would point out about the software is that when inputting an address to find, the software app continually tries to complete the typed string, many times incorrectly; so getting in the street number, city, and state can be challenging. I give it 4 of 5 stars when making a judgement of how the unit met my expectations.
