It preformed FLAWLESSLY!!! I had no trouble using this GPS, getting to my destinations, finding Motels, Resturants, Coffee shops or anything else I needed. I really don't know how I got along without one before and Tom Tom is the BEST! I will add one to all my vehicles and childrens too! from Dell.com The feature to plot a course based on when you're driving is very nice, especially if conditions change as your driving, it can suggest alternatives. This is much more than "just a GPS" compared to the other 2 I've had (Garman Street Pilot C130 and Magellan Maestro 4070). TomTom seems to be really on the ball with milking as much out of it as possible and going even further by opening it up to developers. I'm gunna download the SDK and play around with it. from Amazon.com I purchased TomTom GO 730 which was recommanded as a good navigator by Tomtom retailer. It looked works fine few days and it didn't turn on. from Amazon.com Great guidance system and very accurate. Heads up to keep it always updated...makes a difference in address search and also in satellite sensitivity. The battery is dependable, but does not perform as advertised though, the 730 is suppose to have a "up to 5 hours" Li-Po battery but lasts for a little over half of that, with brightness at 80% and FM transmitter off. Seems similar to standard "up to 3 hours" non Li-Po battery on the other models which lasts about the same...about 3 hours. from Amazon.com Overall a good GPS with plenty of options. Warning: This is somewhat long. The TomTom GO 730 was purchased after considerable, but not exhaustive, research as my primary navigation aid for use in my travels. Not that she is not capable, but her idea of where you are and yours doesn't always match. The Tomtom eliminates all of that. My wonderful husband didn't give me the complete address and it took us to a railroad track overpass, what an adventure. Anyway the TomTom has done exactly what we had hoped it would do.
