bad item glass is the worse.. i drop mines from the dashboard landed on my shifter and broke the screen.. sony wants $250 to replace it with a refurbish one...(when i only paid $200 for it new)... bad service.. from Amazon.com This is a great GPS. I bought a refurbished one and compared it side by side with my dealer installed Toyota Prius GPS and found it really matching up with the > $1,000 Toyota GPS system, plus the convenience of bringing it to my desk and connecting with computer via USB to manage multiple destinations, especially when planning a long trip; and even while I'm searching the Google map. The 4.8" screen is the same width as my Toyota GPS but 1" shorter. from Amazon.com I'm very disappointed with Sony's VERY POOR routing software. We upgraded to the newest firmware right away so I cannot speak on old firmwares but route finding is quick, the screen is very readable in all lighting conditions and the dual view (closeup and zoomed out) is excellent.
