The media operations (attach pic/video to waypoints) is a joke..it took us about 2 minutes each time we wanted to do this. In a nut shell this is an absolute waste of money. Other Thoughts: Magellan, need serious software redesign. They need to get it right, if not they will loose a large following. from Newegg.com Cons: Have to download GPX files to get geocaching points to work properly. If entering in a point manually you have to delete the space before the N,S,E,or W of the cords or you get an error. Hopefully will be fixed by next firmware release.not magellans fault but topo maps are not free. from Newegg.com This is a quality product, except it comes with very sketchy instructions and is pretty complicated to operate. First problem is the set up which as others have noted is complicated. I got the latest firmware upgrade from Magellan's VP site and the TOPO software still doesn't find the 1500. Since current GPS models require interaction with a computer the Triton becomes useless if you use a Mac.
