I bought one recently, Iam a driver, Iam crazy about it I recommend the 4.3 one that you hear street names from .buy it and enjoy from Bestbuy.com It's great if you're just going from point A to point B. But if you are someone that's always on the road like a realtor or a truck driver get something else. It has no route planning to set up you destinations in order from close to far, so break out the maps or type in all you destinations one at a time to see which is near. Something that TomTom could easily fix with a downloadable upgrade but then you wouldn't have to buy a new one! from Bestbuy.com ConsI purchased this unit online 8/23/07. It died on 9/27/075 calls to TomTom and still not resolved - not Dell's problem....but Dell customers do want top notch products AND service....obviously this isn't happening over at TomTom. Caveat Emperor from Dell.com All in all you are paying a pretty penny for the TomTom One XL which despite its excellent screen has issues with the poor mounting system and battery, sure it has the latest maps and great user experience but so has the smaller and cheaper standard TomTom One. The speed function also helped us from going too fast over the speed limit. I would recommend this product for travelers even once a year ones like we are.
