It is quick to recalculate routes, and I've had little to no trouble obtaining satellites (except when using indoors). from Bestbuy.com I originally purchased this Model Garmin Street Pilot in 2006 from Amazon. At the time the purchase price was over $350.00. from Amazon.com I received this item as a gift during the last holiday season. I was quite disappointed as it costs 3x some of the newer models and had a map pack from 2007 on there.
