Poor Battery life. Can't sync with Vista. from Buy.com Additional ThoughtsI Love Hi-Tech gadgets, my Wife and Friends call me Mr, Gadget. My point is Mio P550 is the best Pocket pc ever bought. Simply Fantastic. from Dell.com at first look, it promises to be a great product with all the cool functionalities you could wish for in a GPS especially at 299$. but it fails to deliver what it promises. from Buy.com Received Mio with in a week but it was broken. It took almost 3 weeks to get working item due to return policy. from Buy.com Bought it as my first ever GPS a month ago. I find the PDA good, and had no problem with the battery but the device would crash if set and left on automatic lock. Navigation sometimes erratic, you have to exit mio maps programme and restart it again before you put in new address otherwise it gives wrong instructions,names of roads in small villages are not listed, no choice of address by intersections and I have not figured how toto save a location for future navigation yet. from Buy.com So basically, I have found this product to be more then what I needed intially, but that isn't a bad thing. I have to admit that the GPS program that comes with it " MIO MAP" was a horrible program, It wasn't easy to use, and I am a computer tech. from Amazon.com I bought this product using Amazon site around 4 months ago. After using it for only two weeks, it stopped working. from Amazon.com This product is great and buying it through Amazon made it even a better deal. My unit came with a small glitch in the program and Amazon exchanged it the very next day with no problem. from Amazon.com I purchased this from a local store because I figured it was a good buy for all the features. When I got it home I found out that it was very slow to boot up and the battery life was horrible. from Amazon.com this is my first PDA system and GPS system, and having both in one easy to use unit has been a great time saver. I love my Mio P550, I don't leave my home without it. from Amazon.com
