It locates only the closest ones at exits. Speaker not very loud - cannot hear over radio very well. It's not fully loaded like the others but I just wanted it for trips and I liked the traffic report. One last thing, if you can spend the extra money on the Garmin Portable Friction Mount then get that with your GPS.
