I think my experience was a product defect. It is a phenomenal GPS system. Calculates fast and is accurate.
However Mine kept restarting on I64 for no apparent reason. I had to stop to get maps

I like it. Did an update when I got it and it works fine. Graphics are spectacular. Emailed Garmin for replacement battery information. Just send the unit in and Garmin will replace the batteries
