I actually bought this product so UPS, USPS & FEDEX would have a larger place to put parcels. I live in the country and have dogs so sometime we miss deliveries or the drivers don't want to get out of their vehicle. The storage seat allows them to pull right up and deliver parcels. Plus, I have a seat outside when I'm gardening.
This appeared to be really small when it arrived, but once completed it is a nice little storage bin and while not a comfortable seat, it is useful for things like removing your shoes before going inside, etc. You build it with no tools, simply snapping each piece into place.
I had purchased this storage seat for my front porch so that I could have parcels delivered to my house when I was not home. Living in the northeast I had problems with parcels blowing away on me.
I bought a Suncast SS1000 Storage Seat to place out back to hold the bags of dog treats I always have out there. I had considered getting a plastic storage bin to keep birds and rain out of the treats but this is a much nicer solution!
I just needed storage for the patio furniture covers. This works perfectly.
I bought one of these to keep my garden tools handy. I put it on my small patio outside my screen porch, where I liked it so much I began to want it in several places--so I bought two more. The second one is seating and storage for unused pots out in the garden. I put the third by my front door, where I will keep my sidewalk salt this winter.
Less than five minutes had the box assembled and placed on the patio, organizing what had been clutter. It also readily supports my weight, and makes a comfortable roost while watching the bar-b-que or drying from a pool dip...highly recommended...so much so that we just had to purchase a second one! Love this storage bin. We keep it on our balcony and keep our pillows in it.
I am happy with the purchase of the Suncast SS1000 Storage Seat. I use it to store grilling items and it can be used as a seat.
