i had never seen this movie before but i picked it up at a good price and after i purchased it i watched it with the kids and they absolutely adore it. from Overstock.com the bottom line: great movie and not the conventional good guy bad guy theme (although it is there). from Shopping.com movie summary: milo thatch, linguist and museum boiler fix it boy, shares his late grandfather's obsession for finding the lost continent of atlantis. from Amazon.com even though it is a disney game, it may be to hard for younger children to complete. from Amazon.com evil, a civilization in danger, and boy meets girl. from Amazon.com it's more of an action/adventure film set in more or less modern times, with no songs or cute cuddley sidekicks. from Amazon.com and the beast" or "the little mermaid," it does rank as one of disney's better animated movies of all time (especially lately)."atlantis: the lost empire" is not littered with sing-a-long songs. from Amazon.com the one drawback (and it was only that way in the theater, really) is that young children can't read subtitles. from Amazon.com it charts a new direction for its films, with no animal sidekicks (unless you count the cat), and no songs (except for the lame, useless pop number over the credits), and concentrates more on action from Amazon.com the bottom line: kids don't criticize so they'll rush out to see it. from Shopping.com
