I am looking for a new dishwasher, what brand would you recommend under 500.00 that will last a long time? (2 answers)
My family of 7 has had our Electrolux dishwasher for almost 15 years now and although the energy efficiency and silence rating is nothing to shout about those days, it said a lot about it's durability. I only recall one visit from the service-man throughout. I'd recommend the Frigidaire FMB330RG. It has really good reviews from what I've gathered so far. Frigidaire is the lower cost end of Electrolux but even in quality. Let me know what's your family size and what specifically are you looking for in a dishwasher and I'll try to make better suggestions :)

what's the best moderately priced machine for quilting? (2 answers)
Hi, apart from Shelly's really good recommendation, and if you're looking at branching out from the brands above, I found one really good, fairly priced quilting machine, (from a recent research I did for another question here on wize). The Singer 140Q FS comes highly recommended for serious quilters. It features 24 built-in stitch patterns, straight stitch lock designed specifically for quilters, quilting table or free arm two needle positions. It currently retailing at around the range of $ 140 - $ 150. Other features include; 5-Step Button Hole Front Load Bobbin Adjustable Pressure Carry Handle Free-Arm Needle Threader Snap-on Presser Feet Feed Cover Plate 1/4-Inch Foot Even Feed Foot Zipper Foot Embroidery and Darning Foot Special Purpose Foot Buttonhole Foot General Purpose Foot Blindstitch Hem Foot Needles Bobbins Buttonhole Opener/Brush Quilting Guide Large Screwdriver Small Screwdriver Foot Control :)

i need to clean my nionaire humidistat ...what is the right way (2 answers)
Disinfect Humidifier Base and Reservoir: Fill humidifier base with 1/4 gallon of water and 1/2 teaspoon of chlorine bleach. Fill the reservoir 1/2 full with water and 1/2 teaspoon of chlorine bleach. Let the solution stand for 20 minutes, swishing every few minutes. Wet all surfaces. Carefully empty the base and reservoir after 20 minutes, and rinse with water until you cannot detect any bleach smell. Dry with a clean cloth or paper towel. Check the Filter Monitor to see if it is time to replace the filters. Depending on water hardness in your area,it may be necessary to change the filter every 1-2 months. Re-insert the wick filters into the wick frame. Refill the water tank as directed with cool tap water, replace the humidifier housing, and turn the unit on.

i need to clean my nionaire humidistat ...what is the right way (2 answers)
Hi, I'll get this in two parts because of space limits per answer, beginning with general cleaning and then disinfecting the humidifier base and reservoir (the latter will appear first on the columns of answers) :) Remove the housing and the reservoir from the humidifier and place in sink or tub. Carry the base of the unit to the sink, remove the wick frame and wicks, drain any remaining water and rinse thoroughly to remove any sediment or dirt. Wipe clean, and dry with a clean cloth. Drain the water from the tank into the sink and rinse tank thoroughly. Wipe clean, and dry with a clean cloth. Clean the base by partially filling the base with one 8-oz cup of undiluted white vinegar. Let solution stand 20 minutes, cleaning all interior surfaces with a brush. Dampen cloth with undiluted white vinegar and wipe out entire base to remove scale. Rinse with warm water to remove scale and the white vinegar solution before beginning to disinfect the reservoir.
