Would you recommend a moby wrap baby carrier as one that's comfy for my baby?
(1 year ago)Although moby's have more of a learning curve compared to other carriers they are also the most comfortable for mom and baby. You are the one that wraps the baby up so you can make it as loose or as tight as you would like. Besides moby's can be used for back and front carry. Moby's distribute the weight of the child evenly so you do not have any straps digging into your shoulders or you back hurting after just a couple of minutes.
Is a cloth baby carrier easy to clean vs. poly?
(1 year ago)A cloth baby carrier is a lot easier to clean because you can simply just throw it in the washing machine. Poly carriers are often extremely structured making it hard to wash effectively. Cloth is a lot more comfortable....I recommend cloth!

Mei Tai's are GREAT!
What is the best part of the air baby bjorn carrier? My baby is fussy.
(1 year ago)With any carrier the best part of it is that your baby is snuggled up next to you. Babies like to feel comforted and close to you so any carrier you choose would be fine. I typically do not like such a structured carrier because they are very difficult to use. If you are new to baby wearing I would suggest that you start out with a pouch sling or mei tai as they are a lot more comfortable than the commercial carriers you find in stores.
Best Carrier for Quick Trips
What is the ultimate baby carrier if price is no object?
(1 year ago)My favorite are wraps. But most people don't like to take the time to do a wrap so you can also go with a pouch sling, ring sling, or mei tai.
I have to have a custom mei tai baby carrier! Where's the best place to order one?
(1 year ago)look on etsy.com to see if someone is selling a mei tai, they are really great at doing custom orders if you ask, also look on ebay for home sellers. If all else fails try to find a company online that does custom mei tais. Or if you know how to sew you can make your own very simply. Do a google search for "how to make a mei tai".

There are so many baby carriers out there. Could suggest a baby carrier review that focuses in on safety?
(1 year ago) +1 helpfulsI think the safest carrier is a wrap. Wraps are great because you tie them up so it is up to you to make them safe. Moms are a good judge of that.
We're in the water all the time with our grandkids, and wondered if you'd recommend baby carrier and body gloves?
(1 year ago)Zolowear.com makes a solar ring sling that is breathable for hot days and is able to go in the water if you want to wear baby in the water.
Where can I find a plus size baby carrier?
(1 year ago) +1 helpfulsWraps fit just about every body size because you tie it up yourself. Also a ring sling would be easy to adjust. Pouches are made by size, if you find a pouch carrier make sure to measure yourself correctly.

Is the baby carrier Ring Sling good to go?
(1 year ago)I own a ring sling and it works fantastically.
My current baby and toddler carrier is a disaster. Where can a get a baby and toddler carrier that works?
(1 year ago) +1 helpfulsI would first start out with a handmade carrier, something that isn't too structured or mass produced like the ones you commonly find in department stores. I would start with a pouch sling, then graduate to a ring sling, then on to a wrap.
Start with hotslings.com for the pouch sling, ringslings.com for a ring sling, and then mobywrap.com for a wrap.
You can of course find all of these items on ebay for a fraction of the cost.
