I'd check out Canon's compacts...I have a Exilim, and it really has problems with a combination of zoom and scattered lights...like on a sunny day outside...the pics get really blurry with a huge glare on them...
also the pricetag doesn't really match...the canon ixus series (especially 70 (powershot sd1000) is a great choice with a much better price :) (the wize-best-price in the listing is way off though, amazon sells it for 100 bucks less)

It's a decent camera. It really depends on what you're looking for. I personally like Nikon cameras, so something like the D40 or D70 is a really nice camera if you're looking for a really nice SLR quality shot.

I think so. I have the S600 Exilim and it is extremely compact and easy to put in a shirt pocket, but delivers outstanding photos and takes great video too! I really like the best shot feature, which allows you to choose the environment you are shooting in to maximize photo quality. I know a few people who have the EXZ75 Exilim too and they love it. I can highly recommend either of these Exilim models by Casio.
