Honestly research of this TV has been very one-sided. I have found many Pros and not many Cons. Some Pros are that there are multiple screen modes including a conventional 4:3, WideScreen, subtitle zoom, super zoom, zoom 16:9, and zoom 14:9 widescreen mode. It also has built in HD tuning. The one negative I did see was that the 160 degree viewing angle is a little less than some other similarly priced models.
