Zelda is my favorite! It taught me how to use the remote and it challenged my brain as well!

I think the must-have game is Super Mario Galaxy (http://wize.com/reviews/super-mario-galaxy-for-...).

• It's really fun to play with family (it even has a special mode where an adult can play with a small child!)
• It isn't violent (other than the very cartoony sort)

We just got a Wii at work and let me tell you, I'm hooked! I can't get enough of the Wii sports bowling game. Of course, now I want one for home -- but availability in these parts is still nill!

I might mention I am pretty good at boxing too :-)

i think mario galaxy is a great game showing its power. Lego Star Wars is a lot of fun for boys

For myself Wii Sports felt like a must have. The limited number of games keeps it relatively easy to remember how to play each one. And since it comes free with the system provides a fantastic "how to" for using the wii remotes. It also helps that the fun factor is high as well as the replay value.

My friends who got the Wii agree that Super Mario Galaxy is one of the best games for the system.
