can you just hook up the pioneer, yamaha, jvc or whatever, cd player to my cambridge speakers or do I need to add a receiver. I am looking to add another system to my house for just cd playing and want to do it minimally. another receiver? yes or no...or is there a cd player that I can get with receiver installed and then use my speakers?

You will have to get a separate receiver as far as I know.
