QUESTION: sony DSC-H2

slee01 asks (1 year ago)
I use Sony and Kodak digital camera batteries for my camera. They do not stay charged long enough and I have to always recharge them. Is there a better battery that I can use that would work longer in this camera? Thanks, Shari

That is the worst problem with my digital camera too. The battery life is ridiculous. I have a Kodak EasyShare. I must always carry around extra batteries. FYI: I just read the following at Comsumer Research.

"Best batteries for digital cameras -- In recent tests, Energizer e2 Lithium disposable batteries last longer in digital cameras than alkaline disposables or NiMH rechargeable batteries. Experts say that rechargeable batteries are still the better value in the long run, but if you don't want to carry a charger with you when you travel, or you want to keep a set of backup batteries on hand for your digital camera, the Energizer e2 is the best choice. The Energizer lithium batteries come in AA and AAA sizes. Lithium batteries also have an advantage in that they work well at low temperatures. This makes them a good choice for winter camping or sports. Lithium batteries have a long shelf life of 10 years compared to 7 years for standard alkaline batteries."
