QUESTION: What is the difference between the Olympus DS-30 handheld versus the DS-30

In the list of Digital Voice Recorders there is an Olympus DS-30 hand held digital voice recorder and a DS-30 digital voice recorder. On the wize rating the hand held is rated at 93 while the other has a lower rating. However, on the comparison page they both look the same and there is only one listed when I go to the Olympus website.

Hello. It's actually the same. The reviews (ratings) should be combined and averaged. Olympus only offers one DS-30. However, they do have other models, the DS-40, DS-2300, etc. Most are considered hand held or you can set it on a table, or hide it in a briefcase :)
