Wireless speaks can be as good as wired speakers (or headphones) however, there are a few things you should keep in mind:

• Interference. It seems everything is going wireless nowadays. Unfortunately, there is only so many "bands" wireless can operate on. Often, many products use the same band -- such as wireless G networks using 2.4GHZ and many cordless phones using 2.4GHZ -- when this happens, you get interference. This would be a top concern for any type of wireless headphone/speaker.

• Distance. Depending on the technology they are using, you are limited by distance. Usually 100 meters is going to be the maximum you are going to be able space them away from the the source, with 50 meters being more ideal.
