i use it nearly every time i cook - to grate cheese, to chop onions, to blend ingredients quickly, to chop chicken breasts when i make my dogs their dinner, etc.

it is very heavy, but i find that prevents it from moving when you are slicing solid foods like potatoes and mixing doughs.

i have not yet used all the attachments, such as the whipping device, as i have a kitchenaid stand mixer that i'm comfortable using.

the only awkwardness for using it as a mixer is that you have to take the top off to scrape the sides...

having said that, i've made the best whole wheat bread yet in this, it really does work, and finally kneads the bread like it should be kneaded.
