Best Food Processors for Chunk

i have found the small dicer to be great for garlic, but because i like the dices smaller, i put the garlic chunks though it a second time to get them even smaller.

food processors usually leave some large chunks along with over-chopped food.

it chopped them up in little chunks, perfect for canning and saved so much time cutting them up.

the secret to chopping your items is not to use too big of a chunk.

i used it for baby food (ie steam a whole bag of carrot in chunks, puree in processor with steam liquid as needed and spoon into ice cube trays, pop out and store in freezer bags).

sometimes it doesn't chop all the food until it's pulverised - i couldn't get coarse chopped tomatoes that didn't have chunks, but overall i like it.

one of my favorite uses is to grate fresh parmesan; this process leaves something to be desired--more small chunks than good grating of hard cheese.

then, it will give you a non-chunky smoothie in under 30 seconds.

we tossed in a few smaller sized frozen strawberries and some ice cold water, at first it came out a bit chunky for sorbet so we added more water like the manual suggested and then we had a perfect

remember, do not use big chunks of items or ice.

after adding a bit more ice, problem solved --- perfect frosty smoothie with no large chunks!

however, the onion had large chunks that did not get shredded.

my only complaint is you don't always get a uniformed chop or shred, sometimes there's a large chunk in the mix.

the cheese just turns into little tiny chunks...not shreds.

and impossible to slice remaining chunk it leaves without taking it out of machine and doing by hand...

the sausage failed, some slices, some chunks and some little tiny bits was what i got.

chops and slices food unevenly leaving lots of "chunks" among the slices.
