i agree with the other reviewers that kitchenaid product is heavy and sturdy.
i do not have room on my kitchen counter to store it but find that, although it is very sturdy, it is not too heavy to move.
it's heavy so i have a place for it on my counter.
it's very heavy.
it is a little heavy but its too pretty to even care.
no other machine even comes close!i really like the powerful 1,000-watt motor and its very heavy die-cast metal base with it's extremely glossy baked enamalled gray finish!!
heavy, so it won't dance across the counter when you power it up.
it's heavy.
heavy duty.
heavy duty and easy to use.
it is sturdy (slightly heavy) and does everything i ask.
it is a large and heavy unit so it does take quite a bit of counter space, but it looks great and we use it so frequently i don't mind having it out and handy.
i had this chocolate tofu pie recipe that never quite got blended in my old processer because it was too thick and heavy, but it blends to the smoothest consistency in this one.
it is also fairly heavy to drag in and out of wherever you're storing it.
just so you know, the kitchenaid 770 is metal and heavy.
it is also heavy and took some time to get the pieces assembled correctly but now that i see how it all works together, it's a snap.
heavy construction and built-to-last quality.
very heavy base.
it is a heavy product and space under the cupboard might be an issue for you but so far i have had no problems whatsoever with it and look forward to adding additional pieces to my kitchenaid
this is a sturdy (read "heavy") quality product, perfect for the serious cook who can utilize it for all the tasks it was designed to do.
all in all, this is a wonderful product,it's very reliable, good weight - enough to keep it from moving when in use, but not so heavy it can't be moved with one hand.
it's sturdy, heavy base fits into a small space on the countertop and it chops and shreds as efficiently as the full-size machine for a fraction of the price.
the base is very heavy which is great because it doesn't move around when trying to take the lid or bowl off.
it's heavy -- the motor feels solid and the whole unit seems well-built and is easy to clean.
this is large enough to be very useful but not large enough to be hard to store or too heavy for the compartment in the trailer.
it has a heavy base with rollers on the rear to move it easily across the counter but will stay put during operation.
the motor does not strain when mixing stiff doughs, does not bind up when shredding or slicing and dicing and is heavy enough to hold up my cutting boards like a bookend.
the base feels solid, the dial (pulse and continuous) is heavy duty, and the bowl components are made of a much heavier gauge plastic and metal than any other unit i've seen.
it's not so heavy that i'd hesitate to pull it out of the cupboard for a quick task.
the two downsides are that the base is fairly heavy and may be a problem to lift for use if it is not left out and the mini bowl must be used inside of the regular bowl and takes some getting used to
it is a little heavy, so i decided it better just to leave it out on the counter - and it looks nice there.
it is heavy and well built.
it is fairly heavy, like you would expect from kitchenaid.
it is very heavy, but i find that prevents it from moving when you are slicing solid foods like potatoes and mixing doughs.
it is however heavy and not easily moved from place to place.
-because my daughter also laid claim to my heavy duty kitchenaid mixer, and it looks like this whisk attachment is going to be fine for mixing cheesecake batters, whipping cream or putting the final
i love this cooktop and unlike the previous reviewer i find it easy to keep clean and i do a lot of heavy cooking and canning...i purchased the razor blade separately and was skeptical of it being a
while this machine should in no way be considered a heavy-duty unit, it has enough power to take care of the normal tasks around the kitchen.
i went to a housewares store to look at other food processor and they were all heavy.
i have not used the other functions yet..but the dough hook looks very flimsy,,looks like it will break when any heavy dough is mixed ??
it's also heavy, so if lifting and carrying 30 pounds is a problem, again, maybe a smaller processor would be better for you.
low noise level compared to other cheap models. cons: not a heavy duty machine.
our kitchen appliances get heavy use, so i searched the stores for a good quality, sturdy machine strong enough to stand up to hard use, yet priced reasonably.
i am very pleased with the results i have obtained from this nicely designed machine; it is not a heavy duty device,it is made for home use, but it has enough power (500 watts motor) to handle all
perhaps it's not for heavy duty cooking, but i don't need it for that.
for the $60 i spent, i would recommend it to everyone, but not really for $100 because in my opinion for heavy duty blending, get a big blender..and for juicing, get a juiceman.
you're supposed to use cream; you'll get great results if you bypass the "light cream" and get a carton of "heavy cream" or "heavy whipping cream" (no, not the stuff that's already been whipped and
this isn't some reliable heavy duty kitchen appliance.
for serious heavy duty food processing, one must look elsewhere.
the heavy cream was omitted from the alfredo recipe in the book.
